This is the design for the new fitness center, locker rooms and multipurpose mat room.

The new gymnasium will seat about 1700 people in the bleachers. If chairs were added to the floor, the seating capacity could increase to approximately 2200. The new gym could host future commencement ceremonies for our graduates.

When construction is complete by the end of 2013, the Western High School will have a new floor plan. Attached is an architectural rendering of that new floor plan.

February 2013 - Construction Begins: Access Road, Baseball Field, Football Field, and Softball Field
March 2013 - Construction Begins: High School (Classrooms, Gym, Fitness Center, Commons, etc)
June 2013 - Soccer Field Repairs and Track Resurfaced
June 2013 - Construction Begins: Parking Lot/Entrance of Dearing Road Complex
June 2013 - Construction Begins: Middle School Renovations (Science Rooms, Art Room and Restrooms)
September 2013 - Completion of Classrooms, Commons, and Parking Lots
Late December 2013 or Early January 2014 - Completion of All Work!
